We are so glad you are here!
Our mission at St. Paul is threefold.
We are:
Here you will find a place to explore who God is calling you to be, and the freedom to question and ponder those aspects of faith that are most important to you.
We affirm and celebrate that humanity is diverse in many ways including sexual orientation, gender identity and gender expression. We embrace diversity fully with no limitations and are thankful for each individual and their unique gifts.
WELCOME!!
Please join us for our 9:30 AM gathering that we host online in 2 different ways: online on Facebook, and online on YouTube. You can gather wherever you are in whatever way works the best for you and your family this fall.
Please join us in our Sanctuary to share in our Sunday worship at 9:30 am. All are welcome to join us at 401 E. Main St. as we worship, sing and enjoy fellowship together every week.
Check out our calendar, updates and exciting events happening at St. Paul. Stay current with our community and weekly communications, keeping you up to date and in the know!
Sharing of our abundance is an integral part of the life of faith. It is through our sharing that we can offer opportunities for others to experience the love of God in their lives. Our sharing is an investment in helping others.
Growing our faith involves being in community with others to think, question and learn about new ideas together. St. Paul United Church of Christ offers many different opportunities to explore, expand and share your own personal faith journey. We provide opportunities for children, youth and adults.
On the 4th Thursday of every month, we provide items that are hard to find at many food pantries such as toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, toothpaste and other non-perishable goods. Help us spread the news that St. Paul United Church of Christ is here to help everyone in our community.
We believe we are called to partner with our sisters and brothers challenged with food insecurity. We serve over 200 families and children every month in the Barrington area and surrounding suburbs who need food support and assistance.
Check out our events page that details our entire church year of fellowship activities and holiday celebrations. Don't miss out! We would love for you to join us. Lots of information is here for you to see!
2024 was a robust year of impact, growth and congregational commitment. We would love to have you join us in 2025!
We launched our online worship experience in March of 2020 during the start of COVID. Having learned how to integrate online worship with our current in-person experience allows our members to engage in worship where it works for them that week - online or in person. We can all remain in community together and hear God's message.
230 full dinner Thanksgiving Week Boxes were delivered to EVERY Sunny Hill School family in Carpentersville, IL on November 25th, 2024. These families struggle with food insecurity and financial challenges. We also donated 55 Thanksgiving boxes to the Schaumburg High School Pantry on November 25th, to meet the needs of these families during this season of gratitude. Our congregation never says NO.
In July of 2021, we launched a Pop-Up Food Pantry to offer products to individuals that most food pantries have in short supply - paper goods, kitchen products, toiletries and health care products and other pantry staples. We continue to work with other food pantries in the Barrington area to fill in where there are gaps as we launch our 4th year in 2025.
Over 400 meals per month are served to food insecure families in our Barrington community, including lunches and dinners for the housing insecure through Journeys The Road Home Hope Center and Greencastle of Barrington Assisted Living Facility. We strive to embrace and create great partnerships within our Barrington local community.

St. Paul United Church of Christ is a safe and welcoming congregation, strong in God’s spirit and grace. We invite you to join us in any of our many activities. Services are on Sundays and can be attended live or online. We are an open and affirming church so you can be who you were born to be. Our ministries are extremely important to our members, as well as the Barrington, Illinois surrounding communities. Although we are a small community, we are life changing and we are called to serve. Each year we feed hundreds of families with Thanksgiving baskets, St. Paul Suppers, and through our Food Pantry. If serving the hungry is important to you, then check out St. Paul United Church of Christ Barrington. Our music program is second to none, with a full choir, male choir, and handbells choir. St. Paul Barrington also plays a large role in supporting outside ministries. We’re active in Pride Parades, Fourth of July festivities, and other community activities throughout the year.
