At St. Paul, we believe that baptism is an outward and visible sign of an invisible transformation; a sign of the grace of God in our lives. Through baptism with water and the Holy Spirit, we are incorporated into God’s history of grace. Baptism is the sign and seal of our participation in God’s forgiveness, the beginning of our growth into full Christian faith and discipleship, and the mark of our acceptance into the care of Christ’s church on earth. All of these are God’s gifts, offered to us without price.
We believe the promise of the gospel is for everyone, and because of that, St. Paul offers baptism for both children and adults. The service of baptism is conducted during a Sunday morning worship service. For more information about baptism, please contact Pastor Jana at 847-381-0460.
